Star Trek Marathon

Many of us have already watched these episodes, maybe years ago. Perhaps one or two were missed. Well, here they are. About half-way through the series I was saddened to think this show only lasted 3 seasons until "New Coke" mentality hit Hollywood. I just watched the last one, and now I feel a little depressed and angry that this show, one of the best of all time, was taken off the air so soon due to stupidity and snobbery. I wish their 5 year mission had lasted 5 years. The sequals are good, but nothing can replace these classics.

Complete Official Series

People are complaining that it’s missing “The Cage.” But that was a rejected pilot and is not part of the official series. Most of the footage from this episode was used in the two part “The Menagerie.” So people need to get over the exclusion of the unofficial pilot. This is a good deal for all the official episodes.

It's ok but why isn't the unaltered original 3 seasons also available as a complete series purchase? The seasons alone (original and remastered) are $35 each, but this complete set (remastered only) is $25. Yet no set for the unaltered originals. Not to mention the pilot episode is missing. It is a key piece in the canon especially now with Strange New Worlds featuring Capt Pike.

At this current sale price, I'd love to buy this series, but I noticed that the Season 2 episodes are only marked as 720p, not 1080p like the rest of the series. Please fix this and I'd be happy to buy it.
Missing-Incomplete

As noted by other ST fans & consumers. This release is missing the first pilot ‘The Cage’. Massively frustrating and incomplete. I would have otherwise given it 5 Stars. This remaster is conscientious and concise. It’s modern(ish) without denigrating the original. Crisp Clean with no Caffeine.
